ARE WOMEN OF INDIA SAFE????

 The word “RAPE” by its meaning refers to a situation where women, by not his will or consent, is sexually harassed by a man. This four lettered short word is considered as one of the most dangerous word, when applied to the real world. As per the rules and regulations set up by the government authority of India, any crime is only considered as “RAPE” when it meets its requirements set up by the laws. It is not the problem of an individual nation, but all nations; due to it are suffering. Right from the: well developed countries to poor countries or developing countries e.g. INDIA. Each and every girl, somehow and in some way may encountered an abusing incident with them. Such incident, if not solved properly becomes the root cause of it.

In India, the incident of rape cases are decreasing as per the report, but what people of India are seeing is different. As per the report, the percentage of rape incident is decreasing. So, anyone can now estimate; how it would be earlier.

People’s protest and anger against Rape was seen firstly when, the Delhi Gang-Rape took place. The girl aged 23 was brutally raped by the 6 person; among which, one was the 17 years old boy. This incident took place in the month of December 2012. As the case gained international attention, people in some part of the country, including India set on-road to protest against it. As the case came to an end, 4 adult people were sentenced to death. 1 was treated as minor, he was just left out after 3 years of prison (should have also hanged) and 1 hanged himself in the prison in Tihar Jail. The result of the case was not easily out. Many people started blaming the girl for being the reason of Rape. This is what the mentality of some people in India.

After this incident, the people became more pro-active. People started to raise voice whenever they found important. Because of such pro-activeness of the people, it forced the government to form new rule protecting girl in India. Government also created new rules and helpline number for the protection of the girls all over India.

But even after this today, what we see blows up the mind. The incident what happened in Hyderabad once again shocked all the people and resident of India. Women aged 27 was raped and was wrapped in blanket and was set to fire alive. This incident took place when the lady was returning to home back from hospital (she was doctor) around 3 pm. Suddenly her bike tire was punctured and the rapper promised to help her. She was raped by the 4 human face animals. One was a truck driver and other where helper with an age 20 or more. Police have caught all 4 of them and soon the result will be out of what punishment the court have given. All four should be sentenced to death the same way, they all killed her.

Even though the government had implemented various rules and safety measurement for the women in India, it is not sufficient to stop increasing incidents.
